Pictures from my daughters that make me nervous

Lately I've been getting pictures from my daughters that make me . . .well, just a tad bit concerned.

Here are a series of drawings that my youngest daughter drew in comic book like procession. As you can tell they are pictures of her happily riding her bike singing, "La La La" when along comes her older brother, humming, and runs her down with a car. We, her parents, look on in horror. Her older brother does not drive the car, by the way, nor has he ever made plans to flatten her. At least not that I know about.

One just wonders if her teacher is reporting us to CPS.

I have to say the expressions on her drawings are quite good. I actually look like this drawing sometimes. She obviously takes after middle daughter who surpassed my drawing skills in about third grade.

Then here are pictures of my oldest daughter falling to the earth. Yeah, that's a little bit scary.

I love those pictures, especially the one of your horror-stricken face. Even the one of your other daughter falling to the Earth looks fun. Did she have the best time?

Wow...I am duly impressed.

I still can't draw a stick man to save my life.

I wonder if they have remedial drawing classes for people like me?

hahaha, those expressions are great. what a talented little sister I have.

And sky diving is SO FUN! It's only scary for the first couple of seconds, and then it's pure bliss. Everyone should do it!!

The comic is very well done :)

The skydiving looks AWESOME! I went on Lagoon's Skycoaster and it is a mix of bungee jumping and skydiving. I can't wait till I can do skydiving. :)

The comic...hm. Chalk it up to too many Roadrunner cartoons and call it good. That's what I do. "Oh, you decided to build a giant tent fortress around your baby brother and now he's completely immobilized and utterly bewildered? Maybe we'll pass on your hour of Cartoon Classics this afternoon..." My brother gave my husband a box of 500 business cards for Christmas that say my husband's name followed by the line, "Supra Genius." Cuz that's what Wile E. Coyote's said. Then my hubby opened them and the two of them laughed like hyenas. I sat there confused. Why would you buy anyone five hundred business cards for a joke? But I guess that is the joke.

And I wonder where my oldest gets it from.

There are too many boys in my family.

See, with my unreasonable fear of the ocean (thank-you-very-much, makers of the movie JAWS!) I'd be afraid of landing in the blue instead of the green areas in the skydiving picture.

What creative and brave girls you have! :)

i'd be more afraid that i'd land in a tree

I think I need business cards that say Supra Genius. Of course, I already have about five hundred cards with my author info on them and I don't hand many of them out, so maybe not.

And yep, my daughters are amazing.

My oldest daughter liked to draw "interesting pictures" too. When John Kerry was running for President, she whould draw city skylines engulfed in flames, then title them "Kerry's Plan". They may not have been accurate portrayals of his "plan", but they were certainly interesting glimpses into her 8 yr. old imagination!

Okay, that's just funny, Janette.

As to your skydiving daughter . . . uh uh, no way, not me.

Your kids art is infinitely better than mine and I feel slightly sick at the pics of skydiving. I cannot understand why anyone would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. My poor fear-of heights-mind is reeling.

I once had a dream in 9th grade that I stole my dad's car and floored it down the Interstate, and saw my brother on the shoulder, and purposely ran him over. Ten miles later, I saw him again, and repeated the process. Back then I was listening to a lot of angry rock music though...are you blasting Limp Bizkit in the house again, Mrs. Rallison?

Love the art work! But, seriously, how can you look at those sky-diving pics of your daughter? They make my feet tingle!
