Which cover and a book giveaway

I just remembered that I signed up to do part of a blog hop today. Oops. Forgot to do that, so I'm just going to add it to this blog. I'll give away one of the original hardback copies of My Double Life to one of the commenters.
I've got the rights back to My Double Life, and so I'm going to put it up as an ebook. (Hopefully I'll have this book and a brand new romance novella up this week. Be excited. Be very excited.) However, as I don't have the rights to the original cover of My Double Life, I've got to come up with something new. Fortunately, there are some pictures on Shutterstock that fit with the theme. The very accommodating Su from Earthly Charms did three mock-ups for me so that you--my reading experts--could let me know which you liked best.

Please leave a comment and tell me your favorite!

It's the third one for me. I like that she's looking at the reader with a knowing smile.

I like the first one the best, but don't love the font.

The middle one. Definitely the middle one.
Order of choice:
1. The middle one
2. The first one
3. The last one

But then again, I just don't like the yellow font on the first one.

First one, then third one.

I really like the third one, it really catches ones eye! ^_^

Definitely the one with the sunglasses. :-)

I like the third one the best by far :) (Don't you love how everyone is so different?) The middle one is my second favorite. I don't really like the first one too much, but surprisingly, I still like it better than the original cover ... Think you could replace the cover on the ebook version I already have? lol ;)

The third one!

The third one! It looks most inviting. You just want to know what secret she's keeping! "Come read my story and find out" kind of look.

The middle one (for me) is a little too shy looking for the character.

The first one just has some dead space in the upper left hand corner and wasn't as eye catching, to me. Maybe you could zoom in and take some of the top off to eliminate the affect... Just my opinion :)

The third one is my favorite (:

I love the third one the best! She looks approachable yet famous haha. Then the first one, second.

And can I just say...if I read that right...a new romance novel coming out this week?? Yay!!!!! ^_^

I think the third one fits the book the best. Not a huge fan of the font either.

I like the first one. But, I think the third one would best suit the title of the book. The girl is peeking from her sunglasses, which could represent her double life.

The third one for me, it caught my eye the most :)

the 3rd captures it perfectly. no doubt about it. but is the font going to be changed? i don't think it fits the cover

I like the middle one. I'd like the third one better if it didn't have the purple.

The first one, then the third one. I like the contrast between the red dress and the blue background on the first one. And I like the way she is looking at the reader on the third. It's intriguing.

BTW, I can't wait to read this! :)

Third second then first. Can't wait!

i like the middle one :)

I like the third one, the first one looks like someone is walking away from me, doesn't really catch my eye, the 2nd would be my second choice

Julie said...

That is a tough one. Here are my choices in order:
1.The last one (surrounded by paprazzi)
2. The middle one (in the car)
3. The first one.
On a side note, very excited for a new novella!!!

Rachel Q said...

I like the one in the car. Or the third one. Her pose in the first one feels awkward to me.

The third one is my favorite.

I like #1 and then #3. The book is great!

Here's my extremely important opinion, Madame President: Are you ready for it? Hold on tight because here it comes. Are you sitting down? Drum roll, please...

It's gotta be number three. :)

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Dena said...

The first one has too much blank space and the second looks too plain. The THIRD is BY FAAAAAAR my favorite!!! Good use of space, attractive color scheme and her looking at you is very bold.

Alexa said...

My favorite is definitely the middle one. It just seems to have more of a "famous" look to it. I also love the color of her dress.

Unknown said...

i like the third one because it's a bit more mysterious.

LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
hope i win it!

I like the middle one

I really like the last one. It matches the title very well. I love this book a lot!

Leigh Seeley said...

Totally the Middle one! I love how she is smiling at the reader, yet she is about to go out and be a STAR! The picture of the girl on the front is how I always imagined her to look like... AWESOME!

The Three Sisters said...

We haven't read this book yet, but my sister and I both like the third one best (it stands out the most to us) :).
P. S.
I just finished "Slayers" and loved it! Now I can hardly wait for the sequal :). . .

I prefer these covers too :D

Jessie Clark said...

The third one. I like it even better than the original. I like the second one second best. This makes me want to read it again, even though it's only a cover change :)

Anonymous said...

I like the the third one best! It's more secretive....if that makes any sense. middle one is good also

Liz said...

#2. Middle...'cuz you know the middle never gets chosen for anything. Kind of like that pesky middle child that constantly reminds you of that.

Beedubbs said...

I definitely like the third the best. Her face makes her seem like she's up to no good, which is the book exactly.
