In which I hop and give away a fairy godmother
Actually, I'm not hopping--you are. Which is a good thing because frankly I'm too tired. Inspired Kathy, who put this blog hop together, told me that I'm not allowed to give you long lists of things to do in order to enter my give-away. However, she didn't say I couldn't require you to walk into your nearest bookstore, grab one of my novels to your bosom and shout, "At long last I'll own a Janette Rallison novel! I can die happy now!"
Yeah, do that.
And also leave a comment telling me a fairy tale you'd like to see in my next fairy godmother book. Once I get done with the four novels I'm working on now (Yes, four. Someone shoot me.)I'll need to figure out where Chrysanthemum Everstar will send the next poor hapless girl she's trying to help.
May the magic ever be in your favor.

More Chrysanthemum Everstar?? Exciting!!
Hmm, I like sleeping beauty as well. Oh, and Henzel and Gretel! That would be very interesting!
Cant wait for the next book in the series!!
Twelve Dancing Princesses or Beauty and the Beast (the original version, not the Disney).
*clutches heart and passes out from hearing about a third Godmother book*
...
*revives*
I know it'll probably take ages to be released, but this is exciting news still.
My favorite fairytale has always been Beauty and the Beast (and not just the Disney version). I'd love to see that one. I wonder if there are any versions where the genders are switched, though; I'd love to see a version where it's the girl who is the beastly-looking one. The movie "Penelope" doesn't really count, since the main character still looked rather pretty despite having a pig nose.
There's also Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, The Elves and the Shoemaker, or The Valiant Little Tailor.
You already used my second favorite fairytale (Rumpelstiltskin) in the last book, so that's out of the question, hahaha.
Oh, and I just thought you might like to know, recently I spoke to a girl at the bookstore about "Just One Wish". I managed to convince her to buy it!
My all time favorites of fairy tales are- Beauty and the Beast; Rapunzel;
I think you should do the Pied Piper of Hamline or Jorinda and Joringel.

I'm not entering since I've already been lucky enough to win My Unfair Godmother, but I will say that I'm super excited to hear that there is a third book to come!
I would love to see what you could do with Rapunzel or Sleeping Beauty!
I always shout those words whenever I buy a Janette Rallison book :)
You can put your characters anywhere and I'll be happy!
Ok, you funny. :o) I would love to see Sleeping Beauty as well!! Thanks!

I was thinking Hansel and Gretel as well, or some of the less well-known ones like goose girl or the 12 dancing princesses
Oooh, there are so many good suggestions already. I love the 12 Dancing Princesses, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk. (Althought 12 Dancing Princesses has been done a lot lately). What about Aladdin? That'd be cool. Same with Hercules (though, that's not exactly a fairy tale...)
Let's see...I don't know if it would work at all, but my fairy tale is a Grimm Brothers Tale. Its known as The Story Of A Youth Who Went Forth To Learn What Fear Was. I first read it in 6th grade, and it has been my favorite ever since. IF that could be adapted to fit into a story, I would be ever so excited. =)
I just won Unfair Godmother as well (yeah!), so I'll not enter either, but I wanted to join in on the Fairytale discussion...
I always loved the picture of Thumbelina in a fairytale book that my grandmother had. Lot's of "Honey I Shrunk the Kids"-like potential here!
I love Anastasia and Beauty& the Beast.
balintnati(at)gmail.com
I love the fairy tale about the goose girl, the original and Shannon Hale's :)
Twelve Dancing Princesses is also a favorite.
I love Rapunzel and the 12 dancing princesses!!!
bridget.howard@hotmail.com
You make me smile! Just saying. Thanks for participating!
OOOO I'm so excited now!
I would love to see the Twelve Dancing Princesses or Maybe East of the Moon West of the Sun
I love Sleeping Beauty. Thanks for the chance to win!!
natasha_donohoo_8 at hotmail dot com
I would have to go with the popular 12 Dancing Princesses.
The Little Mermaid would be a cool story, Especially if it was a snobbish rich girl who always wanted more. Thumbelina is also a great story.
I have yet to read any of your books (but I do plan on it! I swear!) so I'm not sure if you've already retold Beauty and the Beast, but I love any and all retellings of it and it'd be awesome to read another version of it. Thank you for this giveaway!

I got some strange looks at the bookstore as I was fulfilling your first request. I have always loved the story of Rapunzel.
Hmmm. . .let's think. My favorites are Rumpelstiltskin and Cinderella, which you already covered in the first two books. I do like Jack and the Beanstalk a lot, however, and The 12 Dancing Princesses (although the original fairy tale is really vague -- it never lists a reason for why the princesses dance all night every night, which is irritating). I love how the original in the Grimm brothers' book is called "The Shoes that were Danced to Pieces", too.
You should redo Sailor Moon!!! XD I LOVED that show as a girl!
xeno_turtle@yahoo.com
Haven't read these but going by other peoples posts maybe the swan princess would be good
I like the Dancing Princesses one too or the Little Mermaid!
Does it count if I really was that excited the first time I got your book?
ilovemeinekinder@yahoo.com
I would love to see Jack and the Beanstalk or Little Red Riding Hood! I AM SO EXCITED FOR A THIRD FAIRY GODMOTHER!!!
I like Jack in the Beanstalk. Maybe Jack is really Jackie and the giant is a hot teenaged guy? And he falls--not down the beanstalk--but for Jackie.
Yeah, okay, maybe too much mushy stuff on the brain.
I love Swan Lake, the 12 Dancing Princesses, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast.
Maybe you could intertwine the Emperor's New Clothes in there somewhere or the Shoemaker and the Elves. How about the Ugly Duckling.
We can brainstorm later if you want ;-)
Yay for a book 3!
OH MY GOODNESS! I can. Not. Wait. For. More. Chrissy!! :D Best godmother eva if you ask me. Yay!
My favorite of all fairytales is The Wild Swans, so that would be really cool. Someone also said Red Riding Hood. That would be awesome to! So many amazing things to pick from!
Oh! And I just thought of Princess and the Pea. That would be really neat!
4 BOOKS! I'm not gonna shoot you because I want to read them SO BAD! Can't wait!
Beauty and the best would be cool or.....sleeping beauty. There are so many...

Hmm...how about Snow White
kissyjensen at gmail dot com
I'm in search of an adaptation of the fairy tale of Bearskin. It seems like a fun challenge.
Beauty and the beast would be awesome. So would Rapunzel or little red riding hood.
I can't say I shouted at the top of my lungs but I do own a Janette Rallison book, My Double Life. :)
jeep_wrangler_girl@yahoo.com
Swan Princess! Andorra own My Double life although that's for MY LDS giveaway. ;)
Wow. lots of feedback for you Janette! I have to say I love Beauty and the beast. But I also love Rapunzel, 12 dancing princesses, Henzel and Gretel, and the swan princess.
I love Beauty and the Beast and Swan Princess!
laceyblossom@yahoo.com
Henzel and Gretel would be fun. Or maybe the frog princess--it would be too funny to see what you could do to get the character to kiss a frog, or find someone to kiss her.
I think it would be really funny to see you write about the princess and the frog. I bet you would do a great job getting the character to kiss a frog, or have the girl turn into a frog and try to figure out a way to get the guy to kiss her.
I think Rapunzel or the Princess and the Pea would be fun!

I'd have to go with Sleeping Beauty..although I'd be curious what one could do with the Rumpelstiltskin character.
Beauty and the Beast!

How about the 12 dancing princesses? I realize that is 12 not 1 character so that might not work! :^) I love all fairy tales. Have you used Rapunzel? I loved her too! Anyway, your books sound awesome! Thanks for the great giveaway! Now I need to read all of your books!
booksaresanity at yahoo dot com
I'd love some Rapunzel or the 12 Dancing Princesses. The Princess and the Pauper would be super funny too. I will love anything you write Chrissy into:)

Peter pan! Or maybe something with king arthur. Either would be great!
I think that you should do rapunzil because I believe that it would go very well with your theme of books because it would be a great story if the boy had to help the madain in stress get away from the wicked witch that is keeping her in this hidden tower.
Your biggest fan
I really love beauty and the beast because it hasn't been over used but I think that you should do rapunzil because I believe that it would go very well with your theme of books because it would be a great story if the boy had to help the madain in stress get away from the wicked witch that is keeping her in this hidden tower.
Your biggest fan
I really love Aladdin, Hanzel and gretal, sleeping beauty, and repunzul. Those would be fabulous to put in the next book! I can NOT wait until it comes out! Love your books!
I really like rapunzel and sleeping beauty...👸
Rapunzel for sure. Huge fan!!!
Rapunzel would really make a good third story with Chrissy imprisoning some maiden, but sleeping beauty would be awesome too.👸
Maybe sleeping beauty or beauty and the beast... Why do people keep posting stuff anonymously?
Beauty and the beast, rapunzel, or sleeping beauty i think.12 dancing processes seems kind of overused to me... But anything janette rallison writes will be amazing!
Omg soooo excited and I say 3rd fair godmother should be thumbelina not many people have remade it and as long as u don't make it in 21st century time like "honey I shrunk the kids" it would be really fun to read :)
