Erasing Time countdown--book-a-day giveaway

It's almost 1:00 in the morning--but hey, I remembered to pick today's book winners. Which means we're off to a promising start!  The count-down to Aug 28th is on its way.

Next up will be Just One Wish (because someone mentioned in the comments that it was their favorite book.)  A lot of people tell me this one is their favorite of my books, which sort of surprises me since the main character's little brother has cancer. I really thought I was going to get angry letters from all of my fans.  (I did get two angry emails, actually.  I'm pretty sure I have more fans than that.)

Leave a comment telling me what you would wish for if you had just one wish. Let me know if you're a follower, as that will earn you an extra chance.  Blogging or tweeting about the giveaway or your undying admiration for me will earn you another chance. And yeah, I guess you'd better put in the link for that. Twitter and Google search are supposed to let me know when my name pops up in the internet, but it only works about a third of the time and I'm too untechnical to figure out how to fix that problem.

You're allowed to comment on both blogs--and you might as well, as it doubles your chances. The CJ Hill one is: http://cjhillbooks.blogspot.com/

Seventeen-year-old Annika Truman knows about the power of positive thinking. With a little brother who has cancer, it's all she ever hears about. And in order to help Jeremy, she will go to the ends of the earth (or at least as far as Hollywood) to help him believe he can survive his upcoming surgery.

But Annika's plan to convince Jeremy that a magic genie will grant him any wish throws her a curveball when he unexpectedly wishes that his television idol would visit him. Annika suddenly finds herself in the desperate predicament of getting access to a hunky star actor and convincing him to come home with her. Piece of cake, right?

Janette Rallison's proven talent for laugh-out-loud humor, teen romance, and deep-hearted storytelling shines in a novel that will have readers laughing and crying at the same time.

Author's note: I don't know about the readers, but this book left me crying when I wrote it and every time I had to read through it for a revision--which is why I can't write tragic stories. I would be an emotional mess the entire time.

I wish there were more YA books like "Just One Wish" (books written about serious topics but still nice and easy to read).

One wish? Get a few of my books published. :)

I like Just One Wish too! I don't think I have this.

I would wish my sister was still here. She died in a plane crash 32 years ago and I still miss her.

Not to be a suck-up (no seriously), but I wish I could meet you! Not in a creepy way but just to ask you where the heck you get your BRILLIANT IDEAS from for books! "Just One Wish" was amazingly done, it dealt with a serious situation yet it didn't totally burden the reader down. It had great balance (and yes, I admit, I had tears in my eyes). I read and e-copy of it and I would be so thrilled to have a real copy :)

I love this book. I shed a few tears at the end.
My favorite book of yours that I've read is My Unfair Godmother or My Fair Godmother. I really, really want to read My Double Life (Christmas present!). You write such great, fun, and clean books, Miss Janette!

I have heard fantastical things about this, and I LOVE your books so I need to get my hands on this!

If I had just one wish....Oh wow, that's big...probably that I could have clear mind and wisdom to make choices and take the right paths for my future.

thanks!

I liked this book a lot, although it did surprise me that it was sad. I especially love the part where she goes over the freeway median and makes the comment about how much Steve freaks out for being a guy who does his own stunts. :) My one wish would be that at the end of my life, that I'm happy with the way I lived my life, and proud of the decisions I made.

I follow both your blogs. And I love you, too! You're my favorite author!

I would wish that I could heal any disease so that people like Annika's brother wouldn't have cancer in the first place.

I follow both blogs and I confess that I very much love you and your impeccable writing skills!

I'm a follower. I blogged about you. http://poweronia.blogspot.com/2012/08/janette-rallison.html

If I had just one wish, that could be anything at all, it would be to be a witch in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, magic and hogwarts and everything. If I can't have that, I'd like to travel and see the stars with the Doctor in his TARDIS for a while.

I would wish for more wishes. Or, if I couldn't do that, then I would wish that I could be a super hero!

And I love you! Otherwise your blogs wouldn't be the only ones I really follow. You and your books make me very happy!

I would wish for time travel powers. I should probably pick something more practical, but that's not really my style. :D

I know, it's weird that it's a favorite even though her little bro is dying. But it's such a sweet story, on how she'd do anything for her brother, no matter how big and ridiculous it is. It reminds me of a Disney classic, but in modern times, or maybe more like my fave movies Ella Enchanted and Ever After. My brother's GF was asking for book recommendations, and I had just finished rereading this, and I was all, "you should read this, blah blah." I forgot (until AFTER I told her) her dad is dying of a rare type of cancer AND he's a cancer doc, FML. I really love this book, if it ever gets movies rights sold to it, I wanna make it so no one screws it up! I forgot, my wish would be to stop time when I choose, so I can read more books, and get more sleep.

Wonderful book! Keep writing, you are fabulous!
I would wish to spend one day with those people who have passed on and be able to say goodbye.
Your book reminds me of holding on to our loved ones and telling them those things that are obvious but not often shared.
