To pick the winner this time, I used a random number generator over at random.org. This is because I've had insomnia for the last three nights and none of my children are currently awake. But does it strike anybody else as strange that we live in a society that actually has a demand for random numbers? And yet, if I checked, I bet that site gets more hits a day than many thoughtful, important, and meaningful sites: like mine. (Not sleeping for three nights will give you delusions of grandeur along with impaired driving skills.)
Anyway, Random.org has spoken and given me the number 4, which is Holly, who made a good point, by the way, as to how hotness relates to kissing.
So Holly, send me your snail mail address at jrallisonfans at yahoo dot com and I'll send you your book! To everyone else--don't despair, next blog I'm giving away more books, and perhaps some children too if I can't get some sleep.

Hey Janette! I received my copy of New Dawn! It is quite interesting. I often wonder about other authors' opinions of other authors' work and this gives an interesting look.
By the way the insomnia... yeah I put a post up yesterday about a date I had at 3 a.m. with insomnia & a fire alarm... yes violence almost occurred :o)I know how you feel and I hope you can get some sleep.
Thank you again! I was so honored to have won the book.
So you're saying I'm not a winner?
Back to the worm diet.
Janette-thank you so much for New Dawn! It came a couple days ago but I didn't want to post a comment until I'd had a chance to read it so I could honestly say I loved i! Your essay was --not surprisingly--so well written (and totally had me laughing out loud at several points). And you're right, Stephenie Meyer is an evil Fairy Godmother. Her characters definitely don't have it easy, but maybe that's why we love them so much...
So thanks again. I have tucked New Dawn away right next to my signed My Fair Godmother and it looks AWESOME! And please keep writing, I don't know what I'd do without your books.
